A new theme every month. You submit through a community spot — so your photo lands on the map at the same time. The reactions of other pilots decide which picture wins. There is no prize: the winning picture is shown prominently here until the end of the next challenge and then moves to the winners’ gallery.

Everyone has a place they fly most often. The field behind the house, the car park at the edge of the woods, the meadow where you took off for the very first time. Show us yours. Not the most spectacular place in the world — the one you actually fly at, and keep coming back to. How to take part: take the photo, add it as a community spot and tick the challenge box. Your place lands on the map at the same time, where others can find it. What counts is what you see, not what the drone can do. And no shot is worth a flight that wouldn't be allowed.

Photos are deliberately not sorted by likes, so every photo has the same chance right up to the end.

The same rules apply to every entry as to every flight: follow the regulations of your country. No theme in this series requires a flight that would not be permitted.
