Bekannt ist die einstigen Höhenburg vor allem durch die Belagerung von 1140 und die Legende der 'treuen Weiber von Weinsberg'. Das Burggelände bietet einen hervorragenden Rundumblick über das Weinsberger Tal und die umliegenden Weinberge.
