Die Kampenwand liegt in den Chiemgauer Alpen oberhalb von Aschau im Chiemgau. Ihr markanter, felsiger Gipfelgrat mit dem weithin sichtbaren Gipfelkreuz bietet ein interessantes Fotomotiv. Die Kampenwand ist zudem ein beliebtes Gebiet für Wanderer, Kletterer sowie Drachen- und Gleitschirmflieger.
